Consumer Alert Company: Martini Racing Product: Sint 30 E Spec 5w30 SN “EURO SPEC” Martini Racing Products, Sint 30 E Spec 5w30 SN “EURO SPEC” makes numerous claims that are unverified (refer to the section “Product Claims” below). This product was tested by an independent certified laboratory, the test results show this product can claim 5W-30 C2.

What was the issue? A Verification Request Form (VRF) was raised about a TO-4 transmission oil that had a technical judgement as causing ‘no harm’ when used in some low tier crankcase applications (API CF and below). This was supported by a statement on the PDS, testing data and experienced engineering judgement. The PDS statement:
